There are certain looks and sounds that just get our motor running over here at Web Handyman. The sound of a 72 cubic inch Harley Davidson motor, or a Ford High Performance 289 are a couple of examples. The percussive edge of a Hammond B3 organ tone is another.
Here is one of the “looks” we like a lot. Beginning in the 20’s manufacturers such as Chris Craft, GarWood, and Hackercraft built speedboats out of mahogany. We believe they turned out some of the sexiest designs on the planet.
We at Web Handyman may not ever be able to afford the runabout of our dreams from Hacker Craft, however we may be able to save our pennies and acquire one of Vespa’s new scooter models which is inspired by these classic designs.
We sure hope so!
